2. What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Zelle, Checks, and can process Paypal as well as credit card payments with an additional fee
3. When can you do my job?
Schedules are booked on a first come first serve basis. To book your work we require that you approve our quote in our bid software, and send us the required up front deposit of 30% of the total project cost
4. Do you use subcontractors?
Chicago Reno prides ourselves in offering the highest quality of work possible. As a result the majority of work we do is performed by in house owners and employees. However, depending on the complexity or size of a job, we may bring in vetted sub contractors to help our team deliver the best quality renovation as soon as possible.
5. Do you offer design services?
Yes, Chicago Reno has contacts with a network of interior designers. We can provide guidance on finish material selection, cabinet layout, plumbing fixture placement and more.
6. Do you do handyman work like mounting TVs?
Yes, we do! While Chicago Reno specializes in full-scale renovations, we’re also happy to help with select handyman services like TV mounting, hanging shelves, and other small home improvement projects. If you’re unsure whether your task fits within our scope, just reach out — we’re always happy to let you know how we can help or point you in the right direction. Please note Chicago Reno has a $400 minimum for any smaller jobs.
7. How does your business handle estimates? Are they flat rate jobs or do you establish that it’s T&M up front?
At Chicago Reno, we tailor our estimates based on the scope and nature of the project. For most standard renovation work, we provide flat-rate pricing to give our clients clarity and confidence in the total cost. However, for complex or open-ended projects, we may recommend a Time & Materials (T&M) approach. In either case, we are always upfront about the pricing structure before any work begins, ensuring there are no surprises and that expectations are clearly set from the start.
8. Who provides the materials?
At Chicago Reno, we offer flexibility when it comes to materials. Homeowners are welcome to select and purchase their own finish materials such as tile, fixtures, vanities, and paint colors. However, for your convenience, our team can also source materials based on your preferences and add them to the final invoice with receipts. We always provide all rough materials (like framing lumber, drywall, adhesives, etc.) needed to complete the work to code and ensure quality.

We take safety, compliance, and professionalism seriously—so you can feel confident your project is in good hands.
10. Is there an additional fee for sourcing materials
Yes, when Chicago Reno sources materials on behalf of the customer, we include an additional sourcing and coordination fee. This fee covers the time and logistics involved in selecting, purchasing, transporting, and managing the delivery of materials to the job site.
We’re happy to handle material sourcing to help streamline your project—just note that the cost of the materials, plus receipts, will be added to your final invoice along with the sourcing fee. You’re also welcome to purchase materials yourself if you prefer.
